Good morning,

I have been asked by my senior manager to organize some commercial-off-the-shelf training for building meeting facilitation skills across the organization (many management levels).

I am interested in supplementing this training with some practical tools that real-world supervisors and managers use to organize, facilitate, and run business meetings. Do any of you have some favorite tools you would like to share?

I'll be happy to compile the resources in a later post. Best,

Bill Thimmesch

Hi Bill,

I would think the IAF Methods Database would be a great starting point to looks for resources in this area : http://www.iaf-methods.org

From a tool box point of view I really like "Quality Toolbox" by Nancy Tague.
This book provides a wealth of techniques to support meetings.

Hope this helps, Andi

Hi,

The Methods Database is best. You may also check out "Games Trainers Play" and the subsequent two books by John Newstrom and Edward Scannell. These have some useful ideas.
